The End of Drachea?

Not only known for his prolific renditions/odes to the Sailor Moon series, but also for his... let's say colorful renditions of gorgeous original male characters, it's with my saddest regret that I have to announce that one of the great DeviantArtists of our time (give or take however long Deviant Art's been around )... has passed on...

...Metaphorically speaking of course ...

But yes, it appears ultra-talented and prolific German artist Drachea Rannak has called it quits and pretty much brought an abrupt end to any and all his activities as a member of the DeviantArt community... No more contests, no more commissions, no more account, no nothing...

So essentially that's it... The end of a stable of gorgeous/colorful interpretations of hotties looking all muscly and mischievous, and downright stunningly sexy... At least about as sexy as a couple of imaginary characters can get... And probably no more hot cowboys in boxers either ...

I'm not sure it's actually worth getting into the 'why' he felt he had to call it quits... suffice to say, I'll just settle on providing a link that pretty much condenses a long story short.

But yeah... talented artists who draw men (tastefully and proportionally) are few and far between, so he'll be missed. But his art lives on... Or perhaps at least as much as I could fit in this final feature . Goodbye Drachea... hopefully we haven't seen the last of you.
